About
Hi, I’m Candra - an endlessly curious problem-solver who loves building systems that help people and teams unlock their full potential. A prospect development strategist, I get excited by a good puzzle and even more excited by practical solutions that work.
With 15+ years of experience in prospect research, prospect management, and development operations, I specialize in turning donor data into actionable strategy. I bring deep experience in prospect identification and research, designing and optimizing systems, and implementing CRM solutions to enhance fundraising efficiency and impact.
At the International Rescue Committee, I helped drive major gifts and institutional fundraising growth from $60M to over $280M annually and helped expand the prospect development team from three to 15. Across income streams and geographic markets, I led the creation of prospecting systems, portfolio management policies, scoring models aiding fundraiser prioritization, and was a subject matter expert for three CRM migrations.
I understand what it takes to build strong prospect development functions - from staffing to processes, systems to best practices, and portfolio development to partnering strategically with fundraisers. I’m led by integrity, grounded in trust, and always bring a people-first approach to my work.
When I’m not deep in research or mapping out a solution, I’m either hanging out with my family and friends, on a run, or turning up the music for a spontaneous dance party (usually some combination of all three!)
